While there are so many incredible places that can and should make our bucket lists, there are some natural wonders across the world that are must-see once in a lifetime.

The Blue Lagoon in Iceland is easily one of the most popular destinations to visit in Iceland. With the hot and healing waters in the geothermal spa, it is an experience to sit and take in the beautiful views and experience the natural spa. 2. The lavender fields of Provence, France
For a relaxing and overall beautiful experience, the lavender field of Provence are a must-see. The best time to visit them are between end of June through the beginning of August, during peak bloom. Whether you are a flower/garden lover or simply love breath-taking nature, the lavender fields in Provence are known to be some of the most beautiful in all of the world.
3. Great Barrier Reef, Australia
The Great Barrier Reef is perhaps one of the most well-known natural wonders in all of the world. Stretching over 14 degrees of latitude with an expansive range that makes up one of the largest coral reef systems, this is a must-see at least once in the world. With its protected state, if you can visit the Great Barrier Reef while it is still in its existing state, respect its state while you’re there, and you love being in the underwater world, this is absolutely a must-see!
4. The Grand Canyon, USA
The Grand Canyon is a national park located in Arizona, United States. With layers of red rock that draw your eye across the canyon and Colorado River, this is a destination that is a must see. It is a site that seems to go on forever, and is particularly spectacular when seen at sunrise or sunset. You can hike here or simply stay along the upper trail where you can take in the expansive views, and no matter which you choose you are in for incredible memories. Before you go, some things to keep in mind are that the North Rim closes for winter and you can opt for a helicopter tour that departs from Las Vegas for those elevated and beautiful views.
5. Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
The Plitvice Lakes in Croatia consist of 16 terraced lakes with interweaving waterfalls. For a destination where you will be simply astounded by the natural power of nature and have access to some of the best and most panoramic views, this is a destination that should make your must-visit list at all costs!
